George Alles
   George J. Alles Sr., 91, of West Bennett Street, Kingston, died Tuesday, Sept 4, 1990, in the Nesbitt Memorial Hospital, Kingston, where he was admitted on Monday as a medical patient.
   Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the last surviving child of the late Jacob and Ida Helfrich Alles.
   Prior to retiring many years ago, he was employed in the automobile business in Kingston, for over 50 years.
   Mr. Alles was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Luzerne. He and his wife, the former Annette Giovino, celebrated their 86th wedding anniversary June 18, 1990.
   He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. Surviving are sons, George J. Jr., Harveys Lake; William A.T., Shavertown; daughters, Ruth Holvey, Whitehall; Catherine Schuler, Wilkes-Barre, 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
   Funeral services will be Thursday at 9:30 a.m. from the Hugh B. Hughes and Son Inc. Funeral Home, 1044 Wyoming Ave., Forty Fort, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in Sacred Heart Church, with the Rev. Arnold Smith, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in St. Nicholas Cemetery, Shavertown.
   Friends may call today, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m.
