Mrs. Ethel Eugenia Kelsey, of 417 North State street, died at 4:10 p.m. Friday in her home. She had been ill since Dec. 1, 1951.

Surviving is her husband, Milton. They had been married for 54 years. She also leaves one daughter, Mrs. O. Chalmer Colcord, of Niles; two sons, Dr. Lewis Donald Kelsey, of Vermontville, Mich. and Merwon J. Kelsey, of Mattoon, Ill.; seven grandchildren, and one brother, Frank Hatfield , of South Bend.

Mrs. Kelsey was born in Niles on Nov. 8, 1878, and had lived here all her life. She was a charter member of the North Niles Home Economics club.

Friends may call at the Pifer funeral home, where services will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Monday by the Rev. T.M. Greenhoe, Presbyterian pastor. Burial will be in Silverbrook cemetery.

Mrs. Norman Keihn, commander of the VFW auxiliary, has requested that auxiliary members meet at 3:15 p.m. at the funeral home to attend the service as a group.
