ALWIN MILSTEAD buried Tuesday
Funeral services for Alwin Milstead,85, of Bald Prairie community were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday from the Bald Prairie Church of Christ with Minister Malcolm Smith of Groesbeck Church of Christ officiating. Burial followed in Bald Prairie Cemetery.
Mr. Milstead died Sunday night, March 10, in a Marlin hospital following a long illness. He was born, reared and spent most of his life in the Bald Prairie community where he was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ruth Milstead of Bald Prairie, one son, Eugene Milstead II of LaMarque; a daughter, Mrs. Marie Stem of Texas City; five grandchildren, three great grandchildren; a brother, Eugene Milstead of Houston; and one sister, Mrs. Lottie Reagan of Kosse.
