Clarence Calvin Kay, 56, of 315 Werner Street, died Sunday, February 8, 2009.

Born in Pickens County, he was the son of the late Clarence Calvin and Lois O'Neal Kay. He worked for many years for Liberty Denim and was loved by all. He was a Rebel who is now gone but will never be forgotten.

Surviving are a son, Casey C. Kay of Easley; a special friend, Karen Smith; three sisters, Joyce Chapman, Linda Rowland, both of Liberty, Martha Cole, of Palm Beach Florida; and two grandchildren, Austin Chapman, and Shaye Chapman. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a daughter, Dawn Kay.

A funeral service will be 2 PM Thursday in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home.

Visitation will be prior to the service on Thursday from 1 PM until 2 PM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society; 154 Milestone Way; Greenville, SC 29615.
