Cuba P. Bunten, 71, of 140 E. Maple St. died Feb. 9, 1992, at her home.
She was born Sept. 6, 1920, in Davis County to Homer Stephen and Mayme Belle Sales Hasting. She married Robert Bunten on Jan. 27, 1939; he died March 9, 1980.
She was a member of Drakesville United Methodist Church, and Burlington Northern Veterans Auxiliary.
She is survived by four daughters, Nancy McNulty of Overland Park, Kansas, Judy Dean of Onalaska, Wisconsin, Patty Meeker of Ankeny and Sally McNulty of Ottumwa; nine grandchildren three great-gransons; a sister, Frances Suechting of Ottumwa; and a half sister, Mildred Greer of Davenport.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter and a sister, Helen Keigan.
The service will be 1p.m. Thursday at Reece Funeral Home in Ottumwa, the Rev. Vern Elder officiating. Burial will be in Drakesville Cemetery in Drakesville.
Family visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be John, Al and Joel McNulty, Tom and Mark Dean and Doug Overturf.
