Roger York age 54 of Athens, TN passed away suddenly on July 15, 2016 at his home in Athens. Charlie loved spending time with his family. He would call his mom every morning and evening. He was a great son, husband, father, and uncle. Roger was kind hearted and easy going. He always had a smile on his face. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Roger is preceded in death by his father, Albert York Sr.
Roger is survived by his wife, Connie York of Athens, TN; mother, Betty York of Knoxville, TN; sons, Roger York Jr. and David Vail & fiance Melissa both of Athens, TN; brothers, Albert York Jr. of New Mexico and Charlie York & wife Dorothy of Knoxville, TN; sisters, Brenda York of Strawberry Plains, TN; Debbie Pressley & husband Curtis of Knoxville, TN, Barbara York of Knoxville, TN, and JoAnn Bondy & husband Charles of Clinton, TN. Roger is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
