PADEN CITY, W.Va. Eva Ruth Chaney-Lucas, 62, of Piedmont, Ohio, formerly of New Martinsville, W.Va., died Thursday (June 16, 2005) in Wheeling Hospital. She was born Sept. 6, 1942, in New Martinsville, daughter of the late Samuel and Mary Nell Fitzsimmons Haught. Mrs. Chaney-Lucas worked in personnel at Bayer Corp., New Martinsville. She was a member of the 25-Year Club at Mobay and was Methodist by faith. She leaves her husband, Shirrel Bud Lucas; two brothers, Jerry (Stacie) Haught of Stewart, Fla., and Bruce (Marie) Haught of Fredericksburg, Va.; two sisters, Barbara (Tom) Lacy of Trenton and Raenell (Rusty) Hahn of Fredericksburg; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call from noon until time of services at 3 p.m. at Jarvis Funeral Home, 1224 S. Bridge St., New Martinsville, with the Rev. David Hudson officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, New Martinsville. Memorial contributions may be to Wheeling Park Cancer Center, c/o Wheeling Hospital, Medical Park, Wheeling, WV 26003
