In Raynham, July 19, 2016 Jana Rosemary (Grandmont) Schofield, Jana passed away at home surrounded by her loving family following a lengthy illness. She is survived by her loving husband Jeffrey Schofield. Jana was born in Taunton, the daughter of Wilma Pottier Grandmont of Taunton and her late Dad Alfred Grandmont. Jana had resided most of her life in Taunton and Raynham. She attended Taunton schools and was a graduate of Coyle Cassidy High School and also graduated with her bachelor's degree in English from Providence College. Jana was employed as a guidance administrative secretary for Bristol Plymouth Regional High School. She enjoyed traveling, sports, going to the beach and above all cherished her time with her children and grandchildren. Jana also will miss her sidekick and companion, her dog Paisley. In addition to her husband Jeffrey, Jana leaves her devoted children Keara P. Allen and her husband Steven of Dighton, Kelan O'Connell and his fiancé Tess of Taunton and her step daughter Alexis A. Schofield of Belmont, NH. She also leaves her two grandchildren Braylan and Mckenzie. Jana leaves her siblings Alfred G. Grandmont Jr. and his wife Laurie of Bourne, Mark Grandmont of Taunton and Candia Grandmont of Taunton. She also leaves her niece Megan Grandmont and nephews William and Evan Grandmont. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Wednesday, July 27th from 5-7 pm. in the O'Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA 02780 A graveside service will be held at Bourne National Cemetery in Bourne, MA on Thursday, July 28th promptly at 11:15 am.
