DICKIE, Larry Russell 72, of Tucson, went home to be with the Lord on June 8, 2016.

Larry was born in Wickenburg, AZ in 1943 to Ernest R. Dickie and Daisy E. Dickie. He moved with his family to Bagdad, AZ when he was five and graduated from Bagdad High in 1961, whereupon he joined the Air Force.

He and Barbara Skiles, also a Bagdad graduate, were married in Phoenix in 1964. They embarked on a series of adventures that would last 51 years. Up or down, thin or flush, they never left each others side.

Larry will be remembered by his family as strong, patient, loyal, and kind. He is sorely missed.

Larry is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara; sons, Kurt (Laura) of Washington and Kice (Jamelle) of Texas and six grandchildren, Luke, Kyra, Scot, Alex, Maddie and Nate, as well as as three sisters, Ernestine (Charlie) Hammon of Phoenix, Geri (Jim) Dwight of Phoenix and Norma (Tom) Pirtle of Prescott Valley and numerous nieces and nephews.
