Richard M. Champluvier 68, of Wyalusing Pennsylvania passed away Wednesday evening, July 20th at the Bradford County Manor in Troy, Pemmsylvania. Richard was born on June 19, 1948 in Sayre, Pennsylvania the son of the late Royal C. and Gertrude H. (Hendershot) Champluvier. He married the former Kay C. Hoffman on March 18, 1972. Richard was a dairy farmer for Lime-Val Farm.
Richard is survived by his wife, Kay of Wyalusing; his children Kelly S. McNemar (Paul) of Orefield; Amy L. Champluvier of Wyalusing; Holly E. Champluvier (Aaron Lineberry Sr.) of Towanda; and Bryan R. Champluvier of Wyalusing; his grandchildren Brittany and fiancé Andrew; Samantha; Rachel; Allie; Brock; Olivia; Aaron Jr.; Thomas; Jacob. Mother-in-law Dorothy M. Hoffman of Emmaus; sister Janice L. Latimer of Towanda; sister -in-law Elizabeth McGouirk (Cecil) of Columbus, GA; brother-in-law Howard Hoffman (Linda) of Emmaus; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Besides his parents Richard was preceded in death by his father-in-law Herman F. Hoffman and brother-in-law Richard D. Latimer.
Funeral services for Richard will be held on Sunday, July 24, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Towanda with the Reverend Jira Albers and Vicar Paul Theiss both of the church officiating. Interment will follow at the Lime Hill Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the Sheldon Funeral Home, 155 Church Street, Wyalusing on Saturday, July 23, 2016 from 6-8 PM.
