Mr. Barclay died at 11:58 p.m. Friday at Clinton-Hickman County Hospital.

He was a member of New Chapel Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Artence Barclay; a daughter, Mrs. Brenda Gorman, Los Angeles, Calif.; a step-son, Perella Clayton Cloys, St. Charles, Mo.; a brother, Gradie Barclay, Tampa, Fla.; a sister, Mrs. Pauline Hodges, Tarpon Springs, Fla.; and three grandchildren.
