Beloved patriarch, Mario Angelo Ceschiat, passed away December 24, 2003 surrounded by his loving family. Born March 4, 1934 in Columbus, Ohio. Mario was retired from co-ownership of Ardit Tile Company. He was a business agent for Helpers Union Local 58 and a member of Builders Exchange of Central Ohio, (Ardit Tile Company-Tile, Marble & Terrazzo). His many interest consisted of leather work, car restoration, amateur radio (K8ZQS), radio-controlled airplanes, custom knife craftsmanship and the NRA. Mario is preceded in death by his father. Surviving him is his loving wife of 47 years, Pat; children, Lisa (Joe) Gibson, Laura (Mike) Kirkpatrick and Michael Ceschiat and partner Cheri Reckers; grandchildren, Matthew Joseph Gibson, Eric Anthony Gibson, Anthony Michael Kirkpatrick; mother, Yolanda Zanon; sister, Diana (John) Varrasso; and several aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Family will receive friends on Monday, December 29, 2003 at the JOHN QUINT & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 1177 West Fifth Avenue, from 4-8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 30, 2003 at funeral home, Rev. Fr. Jerome D. Stluka, officiating. Burial will follow at the St. Joseph Cemetery, 6440 S. High Street.
