Ada M. Scritchfield, 87, of Hyndman died Sunday June 18, 2006, at Windber Medical Center, Windber.
She was born June 11, 1919, in Green Ridge, Md., a daughter of the late Henry A. and Bessie Mae (Iames) Wright. She was also preceded in death by, James H. Scritchfield, her husband of 63 years, whom she married May 29, 1938; a daughter, Judith A. Hartung; sisters: Minnie Mason, Emma Hook and brothers: Howard Long and Oscar Wright. Mrs. Scritchfiled worked for Celanese Corporation and was also a homemaker.
