Clifford W Dow, 74, died Thursday after a long illness at his home, 56 Columbus Street, Newton Highlands. Services at St Paul's Episcopal Church, Newton Highlands.

Mr Dow was active in Boston wool circles or more than 50 years and was a native of Windsor, VT. He was a member of the Boston Wool Trade Association, the Boston Chamber of Commerce, Dalhaufle Lodge of Masons and the Episcopalian Club.

Surviving, his wife, the former Grace E Stone
Three sons: Kenneth C Dow of Tuftonboro, NH; James Arthur Dow of West Newton; Clifford W Dow Jr of Scituate
Two daughters: Mrs Winfield F Robinson of Wellseley Hills and Mrs John Drew Cold of Hollywood, CA
A brother, George L Dow of Cambridge
A sister, Mrs Harry Ball of New York.
