Mark Alan Adkins, 14 months, died Wednesday afternoon in Henry County Hospital after he reportedly drank fuel oil. Members of the First Aid Unit received the call at 2:20 pm. The child had been living in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Curtis, RR 1, Springport.

Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Laura Adkins; a brother, Harold Lee Adkins; his maternal grandmother, Mildred M. Kennedy; and his maternal grandfather, Robert Hughes.
