David Woodrow Smith, age 77, died September 9, 1992 in Bennion, Utah. Born November 2, 1914 in Granger, Utah, a son of Daniel Ephriam and Lucy Cook Smith. Married Emma Fae Sessions August 8, 1941 in the Logan LDS Temple. Active member of the LDS Church, having served in the Sunday School and as ward clerk. Retired from Kennecott Copper Corporation after 37 years. Survived by wife; two sons and two daughters, David and Elaine Smith, Riverside, California; Dale and Nancy Smith, West Jordan; Mrs. Patrick (Sharon) Struhs, Salt Lake; Margaret Smith, Taylorsville; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sisters, Mrs. Ed (Beatrice) Beratto, West Valley City; Mrs. Paul (Ruth) Reiser, Taylorsville. Funeral services will be held Saturday, 2 p.m. at the Taylorsville 10th Ward, 4950 South 1950 West. Friends may call Friday, 5-8 p.m., at the McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Rd. and Saturday at the church from 1-1:40 p.m. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
