George Haney, 68, a brother of Frank Haney of Washington, died at his home in Fort Madison last night. He had been ill the past six to eight months.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 Friday morning at a funeral home there, followed by burial in the family lot of a Fort Madison cemetery.
Mr. Haney was born in Keosauqua, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Haney, and had lived in Fort Madison many years.
He is survived by his wife and three daughters all of whom live in Fort Madison; four brothers, Frank, Oscar of Plymouth, Ill., Charles of Keosauqua and Will of Milton. Five sisters are deceased.
