Betty Achberger Thomas, 88, of Southern Pines, N.C. passed away peacefully at 5:58 a.m. on August 13, 2015, at Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst, N.C.
Betty was pre-deceased by her first husband, Richard Allen Achberger (1978); and husband, Richard Eugene Thomas (2011).
Betty left her four beloved children, Richard Allen Achberger II and wife, Jeanne (Hilton Head, S.C.), Thomas Craig Achberger and wife, Debbie (Aurora, Ohio), Beth Ann Palmeri and husband, Jack (Southern Pines, N.C.), and Robert Todd Achberger and wife, Rhonda (Greenville, S.C); Betty also was blessed with nine loving grandchildren along with seven great-grandchildren.
A private service for her family was held in her hometown of North Canton, Ohio.
