May (Platt) Mitchell, 95, of Purchase Brook Road, Southbury, died Monday, Sept. 27, 1999, at her home. She was the wife of the late Robert K. Mitchell.

She was born in Newtown on Aug. 1, 1904, a daughter of the late Francis W. and May (Sweezy) Platt.

Mrs. Mitchell is survived by a son...a daughter; four grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will take place Friday, Oct. 1 at 11 a.m. at the South Britain Congregational Church, South Britain Road. Burial will be in South Britain Cemetery.
