Rick Johnson, 75, died suddenly of congestive heart failure on the evening of July 11, 2016, in a Phoenix hospital while undergoing an unrelated procedure.

While living in Phoenix, Arizona, Rick tried to decide for 15 years whether to become a Catholic Priest or to marry his beautiful widow, who waited patiently for him to decide until 2000, when they were married at St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church, 15800 Del Webb Boulevard, Sun City, AZ.

Rick worked as a lawyer; an agent for C.R.E.C.: Real Estate Services, Phoenix, AZ (Specialty: Phoenix Homes for Sale, New Homes and Real Estate Listings); and more recently, he owned a house moving business.

Rick is survived by his stepchildren: Twin stepsons, Britt & Lee Tingstrom, Lance Tingstrom, and stepdaughter, Skye Silverwing Tingstrom; and one granddaughter, Erin Tingstrom.

Dame Agatha, Find A Grave ID 46781883, wrote about Rick:
"He was a close friend of my ex-husband and me. He served as our best man when we got married. I know he had a brother, John, and that his dad was a doctor, I believe in Santa Fe."
