Carl Lyons Rites Conducted Today

Services were today at 2 p.m. in the Benson funeral home chapel for Carl C. Lyons, carpenter-contractor of 411 South Admire, who died late Monday after a month's illness.

My Lyons ware born May 12, 1903, at El Reno, and was graduated from the El Reno high school. In former year Lyons was employed by the Oklahoma Publishing Company as a circulation man and later worked for a Fort Worth newspaper and for Swift and company in the sales department. He was a member of the Methodist church.

Survivors include the wife, Marie; his mother, Mrs. J. H. Lyons, 411 South Admire; two sisters, Mrs. J. G. Sangster, 408 East Cooney, and Mrs. E. S. Davenport of Duncan; six brothers, Joseph C. of St. Louis, Henry of Enid, Kirk of Oklahoma City, Tom of 120 North Admire, Ivan of the home, and Edwin of 400 North Macomb.

Dr. A. W. Coleman, pastor of the Wesley Methodist Church, officiated and burial was in the El Reno cemetery under supervision of the Benson funeral home.
