Lance Michael O'Brien, age 63, died at his home in San Antonio, Texas, on June 19, 2016.
Lance was born in Ottumwa to Richard and Kathleen (Peiffer) O'Brien. He married Debra Greene on July 15, 1972.
A graduate of Ottumwa High School in 1970, he then attended Vennard College earning a BA degree. He served in the U.S. Army for 12 years as a Veterinary Food Analyst.
Surviving are his wife, Debra, two daughters, Shannon Murphy (Ken) of Fairfield, Kristen Bair (Rex) of San Antonio, four grandchildren, Trenton O'Brien, Katie O'Brien, Natalie Bair and Spencer Bair, a brother, Dr. Mark O'Brien (Murline) of Unionville and a sister Lynn Buck of Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother James of Austin, Texas and father in law Marvin Greene.
