She was a graduate of the University of Iowa, earning a Bachelor of Arts. Leah worked as a beautician for over 20 years with Lifetime Fitness in Castleton. She enjoyed gardening and painting, and was a longtime member of Servants of Christ Lutheran Church. Leah loved spending time with her family and cherished the time she had with them.
She is survived by her husband of 18 years, Daniel Burris; children, Max and Hazel Burris; parents, Larry and Susan Mitzner; sisters, Ann Roach and Mary Noble.
