Mrs. Scunda was born in New York City on February 17, 1907 to Isaac and Rose Choyke.

Mrs. Scunda was predeaceased by husbands Charles Gould in 1947 and Michael Scunda in 1983.

Mrs. Scunda is survived by sons Charles Gould and wife Marlene of Granada Hills, CA and Roy Gould and Wife Cora of Glendora CA.

She is survived by daughters Barabara Gould Louthan and husband Calvin of Keizer, Or and Carol Gould Knapp and 5 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Scunda was a founding member of the Stony Point Senior Citizens and served as Secretary and President of the club.

Mrs. Scunda was a volunteer at the Dr. Robert Yeager Health Center and F.I.S.H program in Stony Point. Mrs. Scunda was honored as 1990 Rockland County Senior Citizen of the year to acknowledge her years of volunteering.
