On May 2, 1910 he is living in Tahoe Precinct, Idaho County, Idaho, from the family we know this was a farm on Tahoe Ridge. On December 22, 1915 his daughter Clara Hamby died of pneumonia and this was devastating to the family. By 1917 her husband and children were moving away to Arizona. We find the family next on January 2, 1920 living and Farming in Algona Precinct, King County, Washington. And then on April 24, 1924 in Pasco, Franklin County, Washington celebrating the marriage of their oldest boy, Almer to Margaret Belle Smith. The next major event is the birth of a child to Almer and Margaret on January 28 of 1925 and then on July 27th Gustav's wife Emelie dies. From her obituary we learn the family has been here since 1922. Gustav's son Almer has two more children before he looses this son in December of 1934. And then in 1936 he looses another daughter Agnes Huffman. At the time of Gustav's death in 1938 he has 7 living Children and over 20 Grandchildren.
