ARNOLD W. APTED
Arnold W. Apted, a carpenter, formerly of Seattle, died Friday in Los Angeles from injuries suffered Wednesday when he fell about 35 feet while working on a construction job.
Funeral services were scheduled today in Garden Grove, Calif. Services will be held friday in Seattle.
Mr. Apted was born in Harvard, Idaho. He came here in 1924. He attended Lake City Elementary school, Lincoln High School and the University of Washington.
Mr. Apted was in the Navy in the Second World War. He worked for a construction company here before he moved to Lancaster, Whitman County, in 1956.
Surviving are his wife, Lois; a daughter, Nancy Jean, 12; his mother, Mrs. John Apted, Seattle, Victor, Los Angeles, and Roy Apted, Louisville, Ky.
