MRS ETTA M HAYS, 81, of the Glen Apartments, Chambersburg, died Saturday morning in Chambersburg Hospital after an illness of two weeks.
She was born Aug 23, 1887, at Scotland, a daughter of the late Jonathan and Mary C Talhelm
Strine. She was a member of Central Presbyterian Church, Chambersburg.
She is survived by her husband, Ray C Hays Sr , two sons, Harold F Hays, Chambersburg, and Ray C, Hays Jr. at home, a sister, Mrs Bertha Snider, Chambersburg, a grandson, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p m at the Sellers Funeral Home, Chambersburg, in charge of the Rev Donald E May. Burial will be made in Norland Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p m.
