Edna Rae Adkins Burson, 84, died Saturday, May 2, at Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services are Tuesday at 1 p.m CDT at Corner Stone Funeral Chapel with Brother Charles Underwood and Brother Harold Mitchell officiating.

Burial will follow in Bethlehem cemetery.

Family will receive friends from 5 -8 p.m. today, 11 a.m-9 p.m. on Monday and 11 a.m. CDT until service time on Tuesday.

Survivors include daughters, Charlotte Lancaster, Maxine Chapman, Sharon (Jimmy) Hartline; son, Clyde L. (Pat) Burson; grandchildren, Patrick Lancaster, Vanessa Wilson, Richard Burson, Crystal Dabbs; great-grandchildren, Sarah Wilson, Ethan Burson, Brody Lancaster, Jessica Wilson and Christopher Wilson.

Mrs. Burson was a member of Lea's Chapel Baptist Church, Eastern Star Bridgeport Lodge #181 and Ider Lodge # 417.

She was preceded in death parents, Enoch Smith and Ada Lou Boydston Adkins; husband, Elmer Burson; brothers, Lee Conard, Arthur Martin, J. C., Herman and Richard Jr. Adkins; sisters, Loney Mae Albertson, Marie Close and Merle Lavelle.
