Ruth Vivian Kimmel, daughter of Clayton and Josephine (Paddock) Kimmel, was born on the Wm. Kimmel homestead July 13, 1901, died January 12, 1919,aged 17 years, 5 months and 29 days. She became a member of the Milton Christian church Dec. 5, 1913. She was graduated from the Milton high school in the class of 1918. She never lost the innocence and sweetness of childhood. Her faith in Christ and His kingdom was never clouded by doubts. She was lovable, cheerful, kindly unobtrusive. She was deeply loved by all who knew her. Pure and white of soul she went to meet her Savior. For her death is but the gateway of life.

She leaves her parents, a grandmother, Mrs. Sarah Paddock of Millville, five brothers and sisters, Emmett, Ethel, James, William and Candace, and other relatives and friends.

The funeral services were conducted at the Christian church at Milton at 2 p.m. Tuesday by Rev. F. C. McCormick, and interment in Riverside cemetery at Cambridge city. The music was given by Mesdames R.W. Warren, F. C. McCormick, Harry Doty and Ernest Doty.
