Lucy Ann (Edmonds) (Brizendine) (Kendall) Robinson was born on February 2, 1882 in Sumner County, Tennessee, and she was the daughter of William Duncan "Bud" Edmonds (ca 1853– ) and Laura (Patton) Edmonds (ca 1868–1928). {Bud was in Davidson County, and was 7 years old in the 1860 census and 17 years old in 1870, the son of Sterling Edmonds (ca 1794– ) and Eliza (Brown) Edmonds (1814–1858).
Still in Sumner County, Lucy was married 1st on January 2, 1900 to Arthur Pond Brizendine (1884–1935), and they were later divorced. Lucy was married 2nd by 1926 to -- Kendell, and by 1930 she was a widow. She was married 3rd on March 25, 1933 to Ira Perry Robinson (1870–1941).
After 1941, Lucy went to live at 1713 Electric Avenue in Nashville with her cousin Mrs Mary Ellen (Edmonds) Crook (1894–1975). Mary was the daughter of Benjamin Franklin Edmonds (1845–1922), and her paternal grandparents were Sterling Edmonds (ca 1794– ) and Eliza (Brown) Edmonds (1814–1858).
In failing health for several months, Lucy had a heart attack and died on May 14, 1949 at home.
Her only immediate survivor was her brother George Edmonds of Little Rock, Arkansas.
Burial was in Gallatin City Cemetery in Sumner County, and Cosmopolitan Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
