David "Dave" Denham

David "Dave" Denham, 55, a construction supervisor, died Thursday, Nov. 23, 2006, Thanksgiving Day at his residence.

Funeral: 1 p.m. Monday in North Hills Funeral Home Chapel. Burial: private. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday.

Survivors: Wife, Cindy; sons, Travis Dean and Trevor David; five brothers; and five sisters.

I 1st met Dave & Cindy in 1988 when our family moved in next door to them.Cindy & I became friend's almost instantly. She is very bubbly, friendly & out spoken. While Dave was very laid back & quiet.Their 2 boys played alot with my youngest son. And, my oldest daughter sometimes babysat for their boys. When she was older & had kids of her own she named her oldest son Scott Travis after their oldest son Travis Dean.

I remember that when we lived next door to them Dave spent alot of time in his garage playing his guitar. My kid's would sit outside & listen to him play or sometimes go to the garage with him.His oldest son[Travis] grew up to love music as well and, plays in a band. [he is a drummer]

Cindy & I lost touch thru the yrs. but my daughter has stayed in touch with her & her son's. My heart breaks for all of them & I pray God will help them thru this terrible pain they are now feeling.

On Nov.19th Cindy & Dave had celebrated 31 yrs. of marriage.
Last April Dave was diagnoised with Liver & Esophagus Cancer. He went to sleep in the arms of Jesus Thursday afternoon with Cindy & his son's at his side.
