Judith Ann Winsor
1947 - 2016
Judith Ann "Judy" Winsor (née Howard) passed away peacefully on July 23rd in her brother's home in Eugene, OR, at the age of 69.
Judy was born on June 16, 1947, to Milo and Edna Howard of Springfield, OR. She graduated from Springfield High School in 1965 with her high school diploma. She was married to her first husband William "Bill" Winsor, a Lane County Sheriff Detective, for nearly seventeen years until his death. She later married Frank "Steve" DeSordi.
Her hobbies included teaching Sunday School, going to the beach, driving through the mountains, and raising her family. Judy loved people wholeheartedly and everyone around her was treated like family. Her love for Jesus poured over onto all of those with whom she came into contact.
Judy is survived by her son, Paul Winsor and his wife Janet, her daughter Molly Hamlin and her husband Benjamin, ten grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Bill Winsor and Steve DeSordi, her parents, Milo and Edna Howard, and her son, Thomas "Tom" Winsor.
A memorial service is scheduled for August 5th at 12pm with an 11am viewing at Major Family Funeral Home in Springfield, OR. Pastor Brian Carmack will officiate the ceremony. A pot-luck style celebration of life is also scheduled for August 6th at 12:30pm at Eastside Church in Prineville, OR. Friends and family are welcome to attend and celebrate Judy's life.
