son of Betty (Edwards) and Carl Kohn, Steve graduated from Rochester High in 1971. he was on of the original Dinosaur Hill kids growing up in North Hills Sub in Rochester. Steve started playing drums at the age of 3 and later played with some notable artists, Steve also had a studio Natural Sounds and Lights which he loved. He would always have an ending to his post hug a loved one and go out and support your local musicians. Steve was survived by his mother, and sisters Pat (Jim) Garbriel, Dea ( John) Cadieux, Susan (Carol) Evela, brothers Ed (Jo) Tanner, and Chris (Lisa) Kohn. along with many nieces and nephews, aunt's and uncles and cousins. and of course the Love of his Life Chellyn Lowran who was by his side when he passed. he was proceded in death by his father Carl. Donations in Steve's name can be made to Detroit Bules Society, Seasons of Hospice or Life Application Ministries Church
