LaVoe Hall Seamons passed away on July 26, 2016 at Legacy House of Ogden of natural causes. She was 89 years old. LaVoe always said she wanted to live as long as her mother and she did just that!

She was born on June 26, 1927 in Hyrum, Utah. Her parents were Irvin Joseph Hall and Meda Spencer Hall. She attended Brigham Young University.

LaVoe was married to her high school sweetheart, Dick C. Seamons, who passed in October of 2007. They were King and Queen of their Prom! During Dick’s career in the Air Force, they lived in six different states and in Bitburg, Germany. They settled in Pleasant View in 1977 and lived next door to LaVoe’s brother LaMont, who happens to be married to Dick’s sister Bonnie!

LaVoe was a dedicated and loving homemaker. She enjoyed golfing, gardening, watching tennis, and caring for her dear little dog, Lola.

She is survived by her two sons: Braden and Lucas; her four grandchildren: Zaxtyn and Skyler Seamons, and Lauren Arias and Helena Seamons; her brother, LaMont Hall; and sister, Ilene Fuhriman.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 N. Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Ben Lomond Cemetery, North Ogden.

Heartfelt thanks to Legacy House and Encompass Hospice for taking exceptional care of LaVoe as well as profound appreciation to LaMont and Bonnie Hall and Wilma Chadaz for all they have done.

LaVoe was a wonderful woman with a huge heart and she will be deeply missed.
