Troy Man, 84,Dies After Being Stricken at Home
" Michael Shoemaker, 84, of 79 Jay St, was pronounced dead on arrival at St Mary's Hospital early last night after being taken ill at his home.
The Troy Fire Dept inhalator was sent to the man's aid at 6:20pm and two tanks of oxygen were administered by Hosemen Richard LaParl and Camuel Carello.
Mr Shoemaker was the husband of the late Myrtle Castle and is survived by three daughters, Mrs Donald Lewis, Mrs Martin Dooley, and Mrs Willard MacDowell; two sons, Theodore and George Shoemaker and a brother, Andrew Shoemaker.
Burial will be in Woodbine Cemetery at Sand Lake.
