Ausker Grady Adams, 78, died Tuesday.

Born in Varnville, he was the son of the late Henry and Annie Burns Adams. He was retired from Ashland Oil Company and was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church. He was a Mason and a Shriner.

Surviving are nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 3 PM today at Sand Hill Baptist Church near Hampton with burial in Peeples Cemetery, Hampton.

Cain Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements, and Peeples-Rhoden is in charge at Hampton.
