Judy Horner, 69, of Parkersburg, WV, passed away surrounded by family and friends, Wednesday, August 3, 2016, at the residence of her daughter, Melanie.

Judy was born May 17, 1947, in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late Clemie E. and Otha Maxine VanClief Horner.

She was a graduate of Parkersburg High School, Class of 1965, and completed business and accounting courses at Parkersburg Community College.

Judy had been employed at Montgomery Wards and Pepsi in the administrative offices and retail sales.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2515 Capital Drive, Parkersburg WV, 26101, and a member of the Vienna Senior Center. She enjoyed studying genealogy, as well as crocheting and crafts.

Judy was a beloved mother and grandmother, survived by her two daughters, Cheryl S. Maxwell and Melanie Fought (David) of Parkersburg; one sister, Joyce Whealdon of Parkersburg; one brother, Paul Horner of Mineral Wells; Five grandchildren, Amanda Gill, Byron Maxwell, Courtney Maxwell, Bethany Fought and Ethan Fought; one great-grandson, Conner Houck; and life-long friends, Dianne Flinn, Criss Wilson and Lisa McDaniel.

A memorial service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Grace Baptist Church, 55 Rosemar Road, Parkersburg, with Dr. Todd Hill officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services.
