Iva Victoria Robinson, 87, died September 3, 2007. A private family service and inurnment will take place at a later date. She was born April 15, 1918, north of Hoskins, to Iver and Minnie (Stamm) Anderson. She was raised on the family farm. She attended District 55 school in Wayne county, graduated from Winside High School and received her teaching degree from Wayne State College in Wayne. She taught school in Wynot, Meadow Grove and Madison. During World War II she worked for the Census Bureau in Washington, D. C. Following the war she was a secretary for Vanderbilt Horse Farms in Baltimore, Maryland. While in Baltimore she met James Robinson and they were married on March 30, 1951 at Zion Lutheran Church, north of Hoskins. She was survived by her husband, nieces and nephews.
