LEWIS HURST – Pekin – Mrs. Lewis Hurst, the former Ada Ethel Blankenbaker, of Route 2, Pekin, died at 7 a.m. Friday at Washington County Memorial Hospital at Salem. She was 73. Mrs. Hurst was a native of Clark County and a member of the Bethel Methodist Church here. Survivors include three sons, Tom Hurst, Borden; Abe Hurst, Salem, and Bruce Hurst, Pekin; four sisters, Mrs. Emmett Temple, Mrs. Pearl Temple, and Mrs. Laura Coates, all of Pekin, and Mrs. Rose Hurst of New Albany, and a brother, Ralph Blankenbaker, of California. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Daisy Hill E.U.B. Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body is at the Dennis Mortuary in Borden.
