Note:
Both her father and mother's memorials have her mother's maiden name as VELTEN. Pauline VELTEN was born June 29, 1918, in Pierce City, Mo., the daughter of Charles and Josephine SCHALLETT VELTEN. A family member has confirmed her mother's maiden surname is correctly spelled V-E-L-T-E-N.

When mistakes are made and the record isn't changed at the funeral home, if the incorrect information is pertinent to the death certificate, the death certificate will be wrong.
