Doris Jacqueline Lindsey Fazio, 77, of 8 Carlton Ave., died Sunday, Dec. 5, 2004, at her home.
Wife of Michael H. Fazio Sr., she was born in Greenville, a daughter of the late Alexander and Agnes McCallister Lindsey.
Mrs. Fazio was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
In addition to her husband of the home, she is survived by six daughters, Frances M. Fazio, Gina Fazio Gillespie, and husband Larry, and Theresa A. Fazio, all of Greenville, Carmella Fazio Harvey, and husband Dale of Townville, Jacque Fazio Redding, and husband, Allen of Easley, and Rita Fazio Mick, and husband, Steven of Pelzer; four sons, Frank Fazio II, of Greenville, Michael H. Fazio Jr. and wife Tammy of Hartwell, Ga., Joseph D. Fazio and wife, Faye of Easley, and Mark A. Fazio of Pelzer; a sister, Vearl Bryson of Taylors; 26 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Mrs. Fazio was preceded in death by two brothers.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated at noon Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. The Rite of Committal will be held in Graceland Cemetery, West. Following the interment, the family will receive friends at the residence.
Grandsons will be pallbearers: Timothy Harvey, Byron Wynn, Joey Fazio, Chad Harvey, Allen Redding and Frank Redding. Nephews will be honorary pallbearers: Tony Fazio, Joe Hayes and Christopher Fazio.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Francis Hospice, 401-A Pettigru St., Greenville, SC 29601, or Monastery of St. Clare, 1916 N. Pleasantburg Drive, Greenville, SC 29609.
The family is at the residence.
