Pixley, 84, Pekin, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Daisy Hill United Methodist Church, with burial in the church cemetery. He died Thursday at his home. He was a native of Clark County, a retired farmer and employee of Borden Cabinet Co., and a member of Bunker Hill Christian Church. Survivors include his wife, the former Ruth Hoke; three sons, William F. Pixley, Fort Pierce, Fla., Ehrmann R. Pixley, Fremont, Calif., and Gerald V. Hartwood, Pekin; five daughters, Mrs. Fern Davis and Mrs. Mildred Guernsey, both of Seattle, Audrey Guernsey, Louisville, Mrs. Donna Morris, Joliet, Ill., and Miss Brenda Pixley, Butlerville; a brother, Bodine E. Pixley, New Albany; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Russell, Salem and Mrs. Olivia Hazelwood, Pekin, 19 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. Visitation at Hughes Taylor Funeral Home, Salem, will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
