Christ Whitman, 61, 1202 N. Union Street, died in Appleton early
yesterday afternoon after a 6 day illness. Born Sept. 21, 1877,
in Katchville, MI he worked at the Appleton Manufacturing
Company 22 years.

Survivors are the widow;
the mother, Mrs. Mary Arman, Mt Pleasant. Mich.;
three daughters: Mrs. Ethel Johnson, Mrs. Marie Lyons, Appleton,
Mrs. Vivian Arman, Flint, Mich; two sons, Fred and Cecil Whitman, Appleton: one brother, Fred Arman, Mt Pleasant, Mich.;
11 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at
Schommer Funeral Home with Captain T. A. Raber of the Salvation
Army in charge. Burial will be in Appleton Highland Memorial
Park. The body will be at the funeral home from tomorrow morning
to the hour of services.
