Jack Bonner Thornton died Aug. 6, 2016 at the age of 58. He was born June 18, 1958 in Fresno to Jim and Beulah (Kiser) Thornton.
A Coarsegold resident for 28 years, he was the owner of Jack Thornton Custom Tile and YoYo Mats.
Mr. Thornton loved inventing, riding his motorcycles, taking family trip to the ocean, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Sherrie; children, Nicole, Billy, James, Aaron and Kilee; two grandchildren; siblings Marie Ingram and James; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held 5:30 p.m., Aug. 20, at Granite Gardens, 29100 Highway 41 in Coarsegold.
