Kate B. Webster died Monday Jan. 20, 2003. She was born Kate Bates on Oct. 3, 1913, in rural Ellsworth County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Orin Webster. Survivors include a daughter, Mary; and two sisters, Nancy and Margaret. The memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Parsons Funeral Home, 307 N. Lincoln, Ellsworth 67439. Private inurnment will be at Carneiro Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
