Ruth Ann Freeman, age 76, of Latexo passed away Tuesday August 9, 2016 in Crockett. She was born March 1, 1940 in Lacyville to parents, Hubert and Mildred Shipley. Ruth Ann was a graduate of Latexo High School and retired from the Houston County Tax Assessor Office as a clerk. She was a member of the Latexo Baptist Church and also served as a hospital volunteer for many years. Ruth Ann was also a long time member of the Pilot Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Mildred Williams Shipley; and sisters, Sue Harris and Leona Bailey.
Funeral services for Ruth Ann Feeman will be held Sunday August 14, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel with Dr. Bill Jones officiating. Interment to follow in the Latexo Cemetery.
