1672 (November 3rd) Concession of a lordship (1/2 league front on 1 league of depth) by intendant Talon to Nicolas Gamache and Louis Gagné dit Belleavance.
1689 (November 1) Sharing the seigniory in two equal parts; the south-west part (1/4 of a league front on 1 league of depth) goes to Louis Gagnier dit Belleavance and becomes the Seigneurie Gagné (151), while the northeastern part (1/4 of a league's frontage on 1 league deep) goes to Nicolas Gamache and becomes the seigniory Gamache .
