Kimberly Ann Vannoy Fisher, 56, of Weaverville, went to be with her Savior on September 8, 2015, at her home after a courageous battle with breast cancer.
She was born on January 10, 1959 in North Wilkesboro, NC. and was the daughter of the late Robert Glenn Vannoy, Jr. and Eulaine Church Dockery Vannoy.
Kim was a 1977 graduate of Reynolds High School and 1979 graduate in Dental Hygiene at A.B. Tech. She worked as a dental hygienist for 33 years with the late Dr. Bob Garren, Dr. Brent Bowen, Dr. Andrew Goad, and Dr. Mark Toth. She was a member of West Asheville Baptist Church and an active member of "Friends of Christ" and Tony Pressley's Sunday School class.
She is survived by her husband Robert Michael; brother, Robert Glenn Vannoy, III, and his wife Miriam, of Spartanburg, SC. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 12, 2015 in the Sanctuary of West Asheville Baptist Church, 926 Haywood Rd., Asheville, NC 28806. A celebration service will follow conducted by Pastor Stan Welch. A private graveside service will follow the funeral.
