JONES - Delores Jean Sloan, of Tulsa, OK was born on Christmas Day, Dec. 25, 1937 in Fremont, NE, went to the Lord on Ash Wednesday, March 8, 2000. She was the beloved wife of Bill Jones and loving mother of Cynthia Masciocchi, Jeannalea Milbourn and Susan Jones. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Lela Sloan. Survived by her husband, daughters; sons-in-law, Frank Masciocchi and Gary Milbourn; grandsons, Adam Masciocchi, Trevor, Connor and Austin Milbourn; sister Sharon Nelsen and husband Paul, their 5 children; sister-in-law, Cleonne Lightwine and husband, Dan, and their 3 children.
Delores was a former resident of Missouri Valley, IA and Omaha, NE. She and Bill co-owned truck stop operations in Oklahoma. Delores was an active member of Redeemer Covenant Church. She enjoyed sewing and crafts and won blue ribbons for her quilts. She was an avid reader and traveled extensively.
Services Mon. 11 am, West Center Chapel. Interment Evergreen. Visitation from 2 pm Sun., with family receiving friends 5-7 pm, Chapel.
