James Harley Farless born June 21, 1930, to the late George and Sally Farless, passed away August 5, 2016.
He resided in Manchester with his wife Sadie Farless.

Harley was preceded in death by 6 sisters; Pearl Reed, Dolly May Vaughn, Louis Floyd, Pauline Lewis, Myrtle Frazier, and Helen Reed, 5 brothers; Joe, Monroe, Hall, Loyd, and Howard Farless.

Harley is survived by 3 sons; Royce, Aaron and Teresa, Timmy and Patty Farless, 5 grandchildren; Jeremy, Farless of Lynchburg, Tennessee, Courtney Farless of Tullahoma, Tennessee, Miranda Farless of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee, Jacob Farless, of Manchester, Tennessee, and Jennifer Harrell of Hillsboro, Tennessee, 4 step-grandchildren; Amanda Rutherford of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Ashley Mason of Manchester, Tennessee, Brian Myers of Manchester, Tennessee, and Cindy Myers of Manchester, Tennessee, 12 great-grandkids; special niece; Diane Lewis, Special Friends; Steve Patterson and Ann.

Harley was a member of the Pocahontas Church of Christ. He was an avid accomplished championship raccoon hunting dog breeder, attending and winning annual St. Jude Children's hospital benefit in Parsons, Tennessee raccoon hunting events since the 70's, taking home several plaques,and raising water racing dogs.

BURIAL: MIDWAY CHURCH OF CHRIST CEMETERY
